After three years as a tenure-track Assistant Professor (W2), the head of our group (Kai Müller) has obtained ealry tenure and was promoted to tenured Associate Professor (W3). Exciting times ahead!

Our paper "Stimulated Generation of Indistinguishable Single Photons from a Quantum Ladder System" has been pubished in Physical Review Letters. Together with the group of Prof. Dr. Klaus Jöns at the University of Paderborn and the group of Prof. Dr. Elena del Valle at the Universidata Autonoma de Madrid we conceived and demonstrated a novel scheme for the generation of single photons with ultra-low multi-photon error rate, very high indistinguishability and programmable polarization.

A consortium coordinated by Prof. Dr. Kai Müller has been successfull with their proposal "Munich Quantum Communication Laboratory" at the DFG major instrumentation initiative "Quantum Communication Developent Environment".

The collaborative project "Quantum Photonic-Integrated Scalable Memory (QPIS)" where the QEC group collaborates with the group of Dr. Tim Schröder at HU Berlin started.

The project "Quantum Photonic-Integrated Computer (QPIC-1)", coordinated by Prof. Dr. Kai Müller from the QEC group at TUM has started. In this project, a consortium of 7 academic institutions and 1 industry partner are developing a novel platform for photonic One-Way quantum computation.
