Microarray technologies have significantly advanced diagnostics by enabling rapid biochemical profiling of diseased cells. While much of the attention was given to biomolecular factors, screening technologies incorporating mechanobiology are still not available. With this goal in mind, we work on lab-on-a-chip screening technologies for microtissues and investigate cancer progression using our microrobotic systems. Our ultimate aim is to provide a diagnostic platform for personalized medicine.
