Engineering Internship ("Ingenieurpraxis")
During the IP, students should actively participate in planning and conceptual tasks at an external institution and thus familiarise themselves with the future working environment in industry. All information on the organisation and procedure of the IP can be found on the TUM information pages and in the IP information sheet.
Have you found an IP at an external organisation that meets the guidelines and fits in with the topic of the Professorship of Microsensors and Actuators? Then send us the completed and signed application for the IP and the work plan (sample) prepared in consultation with the external institution to ibfm.msa@xcit.tum.de approx. 4 weeks before the start of the project.
We do not accept requests for the supervision of internships that have already begun or been completed, as this does not comply with TUM guidelines.
Bachelor's thesis, "Forschungspraxis" and Master's thesis
The research topics, which are either being worked on directly at the Professorship of Microsensors and Actuators or together with our partners, are constantly giving rise to new and interesting topics for student projects. You can find an overview of current research topics on our website.
If you are interested in one of the advertised theses in the list below, please contact the responsible supervisor directly.
Are you interested in the topic of an advertised Master's thesis, but want to carry out a Bachelor's thesis or a research project? Contact the responsible supervisor or send an e-mail to ibfm.msa@xcit.tum.de. We will then clarify with you whether a limited aspect of the topic can be outsourced as an independent thesis.
If you are interested in a specific research topic, but there is currently no suitable thesis advertised for you, please send us a detailed unsolicited application including all relevant documents to ibfm.msa@xcit.tum.de and let us know which topic you would like to work on.
