Content | Cells are the basic units of life and the basis for higher orders. The internal organization of cells and the social context of cells are discussed. Clinical use cases will be presented, where the learned subject matters are correlated to diseases. |

Examination | The learning achievements will be examined in a written test (60 min) and in evaluated exercises. The students have to answer questions in verbal form, in graphical form, by calculations and in multiple choice form. In the written test, auxiliary means are not allowed. As part of the exercise students can do a presentation prepared in homework about a selected topic of Biomedical Engineering. In case the students elect to do so, the presentation will count for 20% of the grade, otherwise the written exam counts for 100% |
